Visitor and Convention Authority

Two (2) year term appointed by a minimum of four (4) votes. Seven (7) members who shall be permanent residents of Miami-Dade County. The seven (7) members of the authority shall be representative of the community as follows: 1. Not less than two (2) nor more than three (3) members shall be representative of the hotel industry; 2. The remaining members, none of whom shall be representative of the hotel industry, shall represent the community at-large. Any member of the Authority or employee thereof violating or failing to comply with provisions of this article shall be deemed to have vacated his office or position.
